Having spent 5 wonderful days at the ARTS IN hotel, we can confidently recommend it. Thank you for the delicious breakfasts, cozy room overlooking the garden and the ocean, caring staff. The hotel has a very convenient location to various interesting places on the island, free private parking, high-quality WiFi, fragrant white towels and bed linen. Thank you for a great time! Ps. Dit hotel ligt aan de kust in Funchal en biedt een panoramisch uitzicht over de Atlantische Oceaan. Hotel Porto Santa Maria is a very well-thought-out and comfortable adult only hotel. The location is perfect in Funchal - at the beach, next to the Monte Funicular, adjacent to the old town, near many restaurants, within walking distance to the new part of town. The rooms are spacious and have kitchenette facilities. There was music entertainment every night. Breakfast was plentiful. Above all, the staff were amazing. We highly recommend staying at Porto Santa Maria. One more plus: there is a parking garage if you have a rental car - no extra charge.

Hotel Quinta Bela S. Tiago biedt een panoramisch uitzicht op Funchal en de Atlantische Oceaan, en beschikt over een verwarmd buitenzwembad omgeven door een tropische tuin. Eigenlijk alles, het begon met een upgrade omdat we twee kamers hadden geboekt mochten we ook naar de suite. Dit was echt prachtig met een geweldig balkon. Ontbijt was echt voortreffelijk. Gevarieerd en voor elk wat wils. Locatie is erg goed, op loopafstand naar veel terrasjes. Heerlijk zwembad die ligt in een prachtig onderhouden tuin met waterpartijen.

Alexia Room bevindt zich in Funchal, op 8 minuten lopen van Praia do Almirante Reis en 1,7 km van Marina do Funchal, en biedt accommodatie met gratis WiFi, airconditioning en een terras. Hostess was friendly & provided a variety of activities & restaurants in Funchal. Her suite was very clean & comfortable, beautiful bed linens/pillows along with a microwave& coffee maker. Alexia room was a perfect for a short stay & the neighbourhood was easy to navigate once you got used to the hills of Funchal. Great place for solo travellers.

Everything is just perfect here! Best location near old town and this view all over Funchal from the rooftop - with Infinity Pool! Everything you need is in the apartment, really new. Staff is so nice ans the contact also before our arrival was perfect. We came one day later than expected due to strong wind and still everything was perfect. They even offered us to stay one more night die free as we lost the first night. Would never expect this but it was a great surprise. Thank you for everything!!

We simply loved it and it way exceeded our expectation The view was spectacular und having a glas of wine, sitting on the balcony and watching the cruise ships from a distance is just holiday. The apartment is very well equipped, even coffee capsules, water, fruits and delicious bred has been waiting for us. But for us most strikingly was the warm hospitality of Andrea and Alex, the siblings running the apartment house. You feel so welcome and we were so greatly taken care of.Thank you😊

Agnelo Comfort - Accommodation H V is gelegen in Funchal, op 12 minuten lopen van Marina do Funchal en 14 km van Cabo Girão, en biedt gratis WiFi. We had an amazing stay at this comfortable apartment! Central location to the market across the street and grocery stores and bus and the waterfront promenade. It felt like we were locals going to the grocery store and taking the bus, not like tourists! The apartment was spotlessly clean and had everything you could possibly need! We loved it! Jose was a wonderful host and he was in touch with us from the moment we landed at the airport and any time we had a question he was quick to answer all of our questions! We didn't have a problem with noise from the market early morning but we always travel with a white noise machine so we didn't hear anything. We found the bed super comfortable. We were there for almost 2 weeks and cannot wait to go back to Madeira and hope that Jose's apartment is available when we do!! Thank you so much Jose!!
