We stayed at Casas de Levada as a family of 4 and loved our stay there. The place is a great combination of charming rustic touches with a modern flair. Our kids loved roaming around the grounds checking out the bunnies and cats. We loved having breakfast in the cute kitchen with the fresh food provided and relaxing by the fireplace at night. Le Quinta das Hortensias est une maison traditionnelle de Madère située à Arco de São Jorge, sur la côte nord de l'île de Madère. Endroit exceptionnel. Endroit bien équipé avec vue sur la mer, terrasse, tout y est. L’accueil chaleureux de notre hôte et sa grande générosité ont rendu ce séjour mémorable. Accessible par autobus. Bénéficiant d'un cadre idyllique dans un domaine agricole, le Casas de Pedra est situé à Camacha, un village de Madère, à 12 km du centre-ville de Funchal. I had an amazing stay at Casas de Pedra. The place is super well equipped and comfortable, every day housekeeping cleans the apartment spotless. The location is quite good- just minutes off the speedway, yet it is tranquil and peaceful. The attention to detail, the thoughtful small touches and the friendly and service oriented staff made the stay really exceptional.

Doté d'un lagon naturel, cet établissement de 1,4 hectare est situé sur le plateau de Santo da Serra, sur l'île de Madère. The location was as depicted. Serene and verdant mountain countryside. A quiet and tranquil venue. Very relaxing. Cottages/studios were very comfortable and cozy. Venue was within walking distance from locally owned restaurants, cafes, and small market. Very quaint. Locals were very friendly & receptive. The Sunday farmers' market is a must see and do

Casas da Luz by Madeira Sun Travel features sea views, free WiFi and free private parking, situated in Ponta do Sol, 1.6 km from Ponta do Sol Beach. The perfect villa for any budding explorer looking to enjoy the natural beauty that Madeira’s landscape has to offer, or fire safety enthusiast looking for the gold standard in both prevention and cover (should the silent assassin come knocking). Where should we start? Correct extinguishers; clearly labelled, easily accessible, all within close proximity of the hazard identified. Fire escapes clear from obstruction and surprise surprise, correctly signposted. Please also note the independently powered lighting in this escape route, a touch that didn’t go un noticed. Manual alarm points, correctly installed and labelled no more than 1.4m from the ground and fully serviceable (we checked). Fire blankets conveniently stored next to cooking hazards and what’s more, with English instructions. At no point during our stay did we feel our safety was being compromised by lousy fire safety protocols or unserviceable equipment. We slept soundly, knowing everything had been done to protect us.. because we all know… fire doesn’t sleep.

Quinta Terezinha is the perfect place to stay if you are looking for a base to discover the island. The host Laura was so friendly and was really useful in providing information for the shops, restaurants and places to visit. The accommodation itself was perfect and exceeded our expectations. The farmhouse was lovely with comfy beds, a great shower and really clean. We didn't really make the most of the outdoor areas, but there are hammocks, a barbeque and sun loungers all with amazing views. As others have mentioned, you will likely become the owner of a couple of cats for your stay which we loved. On arrival, Laura had prepared a welcome hamper with some local exotic fruits, ground coffee and a bottle of Madeira Wine which was a lovely touch. If you run out or want any more fresh produce from the farm then the instructions are to just help yourself. What an amazing stay - just wish we could have stayed longer.

Situé à São Roque, à Madère, le Moinho do Comandante est entouré de verdure naturelle où vous trouverez une source d'eau douce. Les hébergements du Comandante comprennent un coin salon. Le moinho do Comandante est dans un cadre idyllique. Leonor et Carlos nous ont réservé un accueil chaleureux et c'était un réel plaisir de faire leur connaissance. Deux hôtes passionnés de leur lieu et de leur île. C'était un vrai bonheur de résider chez eux. Obrigada 🙏
