Genny Amadio comes from a Construction & Design background. Together with her husband Caj, this Amadio Family has built Kingscote Pier & the New Ozone Hotel in Kingscote. Their Building achievements & awards on mainland SA are well-known. Genny has 10 Years experience in Holiday Rental . She is an amateur astronomer, loves to cook, qualified IYTA Yoga Teacher, has Diploma in Oriental Medicine, Interior Designer. Husband & Son are Winemakers & Vignerons. Caj pioneered the first Commercial Wine made on Kangaroo Island. Amadio Wines has multitude of International Awards. The family have over 50 years promoted Kangaroo Island, encouraged & supported local businesses. Current Projects being promoted are new Golf Course & proposed 100 room Hotel in Kingscote. Emu Bay voted in Top 20 Australian Beaches in February 2022. Often see Dolphin pods close to the shore line. The Jetty has ramps and parking for launching Boats & parking Boat Trailers/Vehicles. Explore the Rocks near Jetty & Point Marsden at end of 4 km white sandy beach. The " Emu Bay Shale Ki is the only known Burgess-Shale -type Konservat-Lagerstatte",dated to Lower Cambrian era. Look up to the Night Sky, easy to see the Milky Way, Crux (Southern Cross), Orion's Belt & many other constellations Fairy Penguins at dusk along the shoreline . Pelicans gather around Emu Bay Jetty. Black yellow tail Cockatoos roost in the Tall trees near Aria as well as Bush owls. Wrens, Corellas, parakeets. A mobile Cafe is at Emu Bay Beach. Easy walks .The Lavender Farm is only short 5 minute drive ,serves great breakfasts and lunch. The Salt Lakes are along North Coast Road, easily seen. Ki Brewery is also on North Coast Road. Camp ground nearby, large lawn area for kids play, cricket pitch marked. Safe beach for swimming. Fishing, Jet skis allowed in deeper water. From Aria ,15-20 minutes to Kingscote, and also to Kingscote Airport. 40-45 minutes to Ferry access at Penneshaw.
