The high rating (above 9.0) confused me when I looked at the photos. This was a perfectly maintained gem of an independently owned hotel. The bathroom was marvelous.

Mammoth Lakes is a beautiful location and the lodge we were in had an amazing view on the mountains. The lodge interior is a bit outdated, but everything felt clean. The staff were very friendly, and check-in and out was very easy.

The comfortable guest rooms at this motel feature a cable TV with extended channels and free local calls. The young woman who checked us in was most kind and helpful. I really appreciated the extra effort she made to make our stay a good one. The rooms were very clean and convenient. This is probably one of the best Motel 6's I've stayed in. Thank you.

Wonderful, clean, cosy. Exceptionally friendly and welcoming staff and a wonderful location. Room was a little dated but clean and spacious with all necessary items. Nice and quiet too.

The nearest airport is Mammoth Yosemite Airport, 13 km from the motel. Nice owners who took great care of us
