You can go sightseeing with the owner to the center of Ha Long (the attractions are scattered throughout, so it would be difficult to do it on your own), for the price of fuel. Delicious breakfasts, e.g. homemade yogurt with fruit, are second to none. Green tea (and others) are wonderful. Everything is excellent. It is really worth supporting this nice family.
