Situated in central Dombås, this hotel lies 700 metres above sea level at the foot of the Dovrefjell Mountains. It offers free Wi-Fi, private parking and sauna access. The only issue we had was road closures due to heavy rain in southern Norway. The staff were very helpful to us in rerouting our travels.

* Newly renovated Aksjemøllen by Classic Norway, has a unique atmosphere and charm. Modern, clean and very comfortable room for a family (2 adults and a child). Perfect location for visiting Lillehammer only a few minutes walk from train station. The adjoining restaurant is lovely and the food was brilliant - good selection of vegetarian food too. Staff were very friendly and helpful too.

I recommend the hotel to everyone who wants to visit museums and other important historical sites in this central part of Norway.

Hunderfossen Family Park and Hafjell are 20 minutes’ drive away.... Everything was great, especially that we arrived in bad weather and I was booked for one night as a rest stop, but because of the weather we canceled all our reservations in other hotels and preferred to settle in this hotel with good treatment, cleanliness and beautiful atmosphere in the area

This hotel is surrounded by mountain landscapes and just 1 km from the entrance to the Rondane National Park. The view is great. Good to walk around. We got there in the sunset time, it was stunning. The decoration of the hotel has historical pictures and furniture, very stylish. Dinner and breakfast are good. It's a little bit of drive from the main road. If you have a car, no problem.

Surrounded by hiking and cross-country ski trails, Venabu Fjellhotell provides traditional Norwegian cuisine, free sauna access and free Wi-Fi in public areas. Rondane National Park is 4 km away. It was just what we needed in our road trip - welcoming place on the way. The receptionist was very kind and helpful. Dinner and breakfast were great. Very unique atmosphere.
