Good amenities and good host. I traveled with my wife and 2 toddlers and it was a very good experience. We had the room with the double bed and bunkers and it was great. They have a complete kitchen that we used to cook dinner for the kids on a daily basis. They have a nice lounge area, with a good pool.

Really exceeded my expectations. Very unusual in opinion to find this type of properties with such an amazing staff in Portugal. Everything was spot on! The location, the food, the staff, the facilities... everything was amazing.

Sublime Comporta Country Retreat & SPA býður upp á útisundlaug og gróskumikið umhverfi og er staðsett í Comporta. Gistirýmið er með lúxusherbergjum með viðarverönd með útihúsgögnum. The setting is magical, surrounded by forest but not far from the sea. The accomodation is a series of cabin-like rooms a short walk into the main lobby/restaurant area. There is a desk & bar area & plenty of cupboard space. The bed & pillows were very comfortable, and the deck & the views to the gardens outside very peaceful. The grounds are beautiful, including a fully labelled herb and vegetable garden. There are 2 pool areas, one for kids which is also a great idea. Transport can be arranged by golf cart to and from the restaurant but we enjoyed the walk. The breakfast was excellent, huge range of choices, and the dinners too, although it was pretty pricey. There is a separate spa centre and its a 10 minute drive into Comporta.

If you seek to be isolated and far from the "confusion" that big cities are, this is the place. Before going into any details, we were extremely well received by João and his daughter Marta. They were fantastic hosts to us, and were very patient with our small child. :) The rooms are in specific buildings on the other side of the main building, and they are very spacious with very good conditions. They all have WIFI and enough wall sockets for a multitude of devices if you require. They also have a minibar, and complementary water. Also every room has a balcony with chairs, table, clothes hanger and a suspended chair, and it is excellent for relaxation if you like to read for example. Regarding food, the hotel serves breakfast with good enough variety given the "small size", and the staff will provide anything else you might require that is not immediately in sight. The hotel has a small offer for lunch (enough for eating without going out, but with few choices), but the more interesting part is the dinner. The owner João is the "chef" for dinners and he is an excellent cook. You do not chose your meal, João will provide a meal given what local products were purchased that day. Do not fear because the food is excellent at dinner. If you have any dietary restrictions/preferences just inform beforehand, and the food will match your needs. Also the portions will be large for even the most hungry guest. The hotel has 2 pools, they are not heated but they are very pretty and well suited for your leisure. One adults pool and a children pool. The hotel also has a Gym which is surprisingly well stocked for your needs, and also has a paddle field and a small fitness circuit with some "weight operated" machines for your leisure. As a final note: This is a rural hotel, so there are many animals and insects so expect them (I like them).

Chose to stay here for a couple of days between visiting The Algarve and Lisbon. Simply an amazing stop. Peaceful, beautiful views, gorgeous room, lovely pool, lush grounds, attentive staff, and the best food we have had in Portugal. The perfect “just be still” spot in Portugal for couples who appreciate quality time together.

Gististaðurinn er í Melides, 32 km frá Parque Natural do Sudoeste Alentejano e Costa Vicentina, Vermelho Melides býður upp á gistirými með útisundlaug sem er opin hluta af árinu, ókeypis... We are totally in love with every little thing about Vermelho. Of course the interior design and architecture are what stand out most. The whole experience from the food at breakfast, to food at dinner, as well as the incredibly helpful, polite and friendly staff. We wished we could have extended our trip.

Porto Covo Praia Hotel & SPA er staðsett í Porto Covo, 300 metra frá Praia do Espingarro og býður upp á gistirými með útisundlaug, ókeypis einkabílastæði, heilsuræktarstöð og garði. We had an awesome room on the first floor with ocean view. Very good breakfast. Beach Porto Grande is a 2-minute walk from the hotel.

Offering an outdoor pool and a restaurant, Sobreiras Alentejo Country Hotel - by Unlock Hotels is located in Grândola. Free quick internet access via optical fiber is available. Beautiful place and very good rooms. Good breakfast and amazing staff.
