Set right on the beach, Weligama Bay Marriott Resort & Spa offers beach front rooms, a year-round children's pool, relaxation pool and outdoor lap pool. We were very happy to stay in this beautiful hotel with a great staff. From check-in to check-out, everything was fine. The rooms are modern and offer a fantastic view. The area is very nice and clean. The food at the Welligama Kitchen is definitely a highlight, and we enjoyed the excellent food and service a lot. We would like to express a special thank you to our personal "assistant," Nishadi; she was very kind and helpful. We would also like to thank the great kitchen and service team, with a special mention to Nazmi, Thiruna, and Fayaz. They truly made a difference by doing a fantastic job in making us feel very welcome and providing a high-end service. In conclusion, our stay was nothing short of exceptional. The combination of outstanding service, luxurious accommodations, and culinary delights made it a truly memorable experience. This is a really special hotel. The setting is fantastic - peaceful and set apart, with fabulous views from all sides of the property across 'valleys' and to the sea. The staff are wonderful and so warm and friendly. They create a really relaxing environment where nothing is too much! The managers were extremely gracious and always took the time to talk to the guests and check in on everything. Rooms are large and beautifully laid out so you can be comfy inside and outside on the terrace - either way enjoying the views and your private pool night and day.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Mirissa Reef Serenity and I must say, it was a truly unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived, the host, David, went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and at home. His warm and friendly demeanor instantly put us at ease, and we knew we were in for a fantastic stay. The hotel itself is relatively new, and it's clear that a lot of thought and care has gone into every detail. The rooms are beautifully decorated and equipped with everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay. The quality of the bathrooms was particularly impressive, with modern fixtures and luxurious amenities. The location of the hotel is simply unbeatable, especially for those who love surfing. Situated in front of a reef, it's perfect for advanced surfers looking for a challenge. Additionally, there is a stunning snorkeling spot just a short walk down the beach, where you can explore the vibrant marine life to your heart's content. One thing to note is that while the hotel is in front of the reef, you can't swim directly in front of the property. You'll need to walk a bit further down the beach and navigate some rocks, so I would recommend bringing water shoes for added comfort. The energy at Mirissa Reef Serenity is truly special, and a large part of that is thanks to the incredibly friendly staff. In fact, they were the friendliest staff we encountered during our entire two-week trip. David, who is French, brings a touch of Western style to the breakfast offerings, which we thoroughly enjoyed. We visited the hotel with our six-year-old son, and it was a hit with the whole family. We had a fantastic time spotting wild animals in the reef and during our snorkeling adventures. Overall, our stay at Mirissa Reef Serenity was nothing short of perfect. From the welcoming atmosphere to the beautiful surroundings, everything exceeded our expectations. Highly recommended!

Everything was just perfect, excellent quality price! Service was high standard and the quality of the food too. Beautiful pool and right next to the beach and surfing spots making it good for both partners to chill and surfing.

The host will help you organize all your trips around Sinharaja at a very good price. I couldn’t recommend this place more - you need to check it with your own eyes!

The rooms are new, nicely and painstakingly decorated, with a perfect balcony overlooking the river side. So you can laid back at the evening and enjoy the nature. The owner of this place is the nicest guy. The commute to the beach area is not complicated or long at all. It's not a drudgery because you constantly enjoy peacocks, storks and other promiscuous animals around. The owner can help you rent a scooter and you can park it under the canopy. This place helps you to unfold the true unimaginable vacation in Sri Lanka, and I will remember it vividly.

Kosi Giggles Resort se encuentra en Weligama, a 8 min a pie de Playa de Weligama, y ofrece alojamiento con jardín, parking privado gratis y restaurante. What a great beginning of our trip! We’re glad we’ve found this place and experienced the hospitality and warmth of the family running the place. It’s a perfect place if you want to stay in a quiet area a bit further away from the busy and noisy streets and parties but still in the walking distance to the beach and the Weligama center. The place is situated by the river and and surprisingly there was not a lot of mosquitoes! Every morning the delicious (and huuuge) breakfast was served by the river edge in the sweet morning light under the palm trees. We also took a cooking class here which was a very interesting and delicious experience 😋Totally recommend!
