Kusatsu Onsen Eidaya is located in Kusatsu. The property is a 10-minute walk from Kusatsu Yubatake and Kusatsu-Onsen Bus Terminal. We loved the atmosphere and especially loved loved loved the vegetarian breakfast the chef prepared especially for us. It is definitely a highlight during out Japan Trip. Set in Hakone, 8.3 km from Hakone-Yumoto Station, Hakone Gora KARAKU offers accommodation with a sauna, a hot spring bath and a public bath. The interior design and decoration is the best I have ever seen.

Hot Spring Inn Hakone Suisen offers a hot spring bath and free private parking, and is within 4.2 km of Hakone-Yumoto Station and 3.6 km of Kowakudani Station. We’re from Canada and I brought my Brazilian roomie with me to visit my home country. I truly liked the hot spring and how it’s not a “too touristy” location. We were there in the holiday season but because it’s a hidden jem Ryokan, we were able to have both the “daiyokujo” and “Roten buro” all to ourselves (we did go late at night and early morning). They also have 24h ashiyu (foot hot tub) which was super awesome. I had beer while planning for the next day and just chilled there all by myself for an hr.

Providing lake views and a garden, Chuzenji Pension offers accommodation in a prime location in Nikko, within a short distance of Kegon Falls, Chuzenji Lake and Chuzenji Temple. The owner gave us a syperb room with lake view. The meals are so delicious and the staffs are so welcoming.

Set in Hakone, Centurion Hakone Bettei offers 4-star accommodation with private balconies. There is an in-house restaurant, plus free private parking and free WiFi are available. Everything was perfectly organized, from pick-up, to meals, to extras. The hospitality was outstanding, and all the recommendations we got (for example, for a 1-day outing; the hotel provided a free drop-off by car there) were great.

Boasting a hot tub, Hakone Miyanoshita Myojokan is set in Hakone. The 3-star ryokan features mountain views and is 6.2 km from Hakone-Yumoto Station. Great location and experience. Friendly owners who were very helpful and knowledgeable on area. We were lucky to be the only guests when we stayed so had full access to the onsen.We really enjoyed this as part of our trip and would recommend over a standard hotel.

Situated in Tokyo, 300 metres from Asakusa Fujiasama Shrine and 7.5 km from the centre, cyashitsu ryokan asakusa features air-conditioned accommodation with free WiFi, and an open-air bath. The ryokan style room and private open air bath is exceptional, and the staff hospitality were awesome it's exceed my expectation. Since i'm prefer green tea more than roasted green tea in the morning, they provide me with the green tea in the breakfast menu for my breakfast set, didn't expecting that. Overall, very satisfied with this ryokan, will back for sure.
