It was a great experience to be staying in a caravan. The unit is clean, towels are crisp clean, all necessary kitchen utensils are available, wifi is strong, good water heaters, beds are comfortable and the host Peter is very kind and nice! The nearest bus station is about 12 mins walk. It will take you an hour to travel going to the city center, but you get to see the neighboring towns and see interesting sights. Overall, we had a relaxing stay in the caravan.

It was an amazing experience to stay at Straven Guesthouse. I felt at home, the bed was very comfortable and the room was beautiful and warm. Breakfast was a whole variety of delicious dishes, home made and beautiful. The sea front is only a few steps away and I enjoyed walking along the sea promenade to the cafés - and walking along the sea shore. I felt looked after and cared for by Sinead and Chris. Lynne and Rob are the friendliest people I've ever had the pleasure of meeting. Breakfasts were awesome, and they even made us pancakes because we are Canadian! Rob spent a lot of time explaining where to go and what to avoid, so naturally our trip became better. Rob even wrote an itinerary of a route we should travel from Edinburgh through to Isle of Skye(which we drove) and were greeted by fantastic views. Thank you both. The place was amazing.

The host was absolutely lovely and very accommodating, being at the property when we arrived to show us around. The property was xlean and well laid out. Very suitable for our stay whilst attending a concert in Edinburgh Town centre.

Beautiful quiet property, very clean and comfortable, ample space for our kids (ages 3 & 11) to play - lovely garden with toys provided, great location to the beach and also accessible to the main city sites.
