The room was very clean and comfortable. It was quiet so I got a great night's sleep after hiking up the hills. I would definitely stay here again.

Friendly staff and a nice, self-check in way. Lovely, freshly made breakfast that was included in our price (i.e., full english, vegeterian full english, and scottish) in addition to the normal buffet (i.e., yogurt, juices, etc.)

Very clean and excellent facilities, all you needed, so quiet. Family who run the pods were excellent. so friendly and nothing was a bother, Abby and her mum. The views were just extraordinary overlooking Bassenthwaite Lake! The pods are actually on a working farm….this is no issue whatsoever! Personal seating areas, barbecue area and the hosts can provide all of the items to have a first class barbecue including the meat (which was awesome local produce) 5 stars from us!DaveYoung couple

The staff were all very friendly and helpful. (Brett and Pete were excellent and Val cooked for us delicious meals). The hotel is situated in a nice area near Bassenthwaite lake and there is a real homily and relaxed atmosphere. We arrived by car so it was nice to have parking at no extra cost.
