The staff was super helpful and friendly and very respectful, at checkout they all accompanied us outside and bowed + gave us umbrellas which we could leave near the train station. The room was super clean and very beautiful with a view to the waterfall and the bamboo forest, the onsens in the building are very clean.

The position was excellent for onsen visiting - right in the middle of the majority of the public onsens and close to many restaurants. We only stayed one night and did not have the breakfast. We were welcomed with a small tea ceremony - a very nice personal touch.
