The peace and quiet, located 10 minutes outside of Penrith on farming land, the loudest noise we heard during our stay was the goats grazing. The hut itself was lovely, clean, tidy and cozy, perfect for a quiet getaway. It was lovely to make a morning coffee, open the hut doors and sit outside and enjoy the views out into the dales. On an evening, you can enjoy a BBQ whilst waiting for the hot tub to warm up (this can take several hours, a tip might be to ask the owners to pre-heat it for you if possible, especially in the colder months), then relax around the fire pit. There was even a chilled bottle of Prosecco waiting for us in the fridge. Only communicated with the owner, Cleone, through e-mail as she informed us she had personal guests and would be busy.

The camping pod was really cosy and clean, much roomier and more comfortable than I expected. The pods are really well kitted out with kitchenware and home comforts, which is perfect for a solo traveller who can't carry too much with them. Lovely little coffee/tea hamper provided and the hob was really easy to use. The pods are warm and well lit, with a great little decking area to sit out on into the evening. Very comfortable beds and bedding, plenty of towels in the shower room and all the little extra things you might need have been thought of. I would highly recommend the Scallows and would love to visit again myself one day.

F&H Camping er gististaður með garði og bar í Danby, 46 km frá Dalby-skóginum, 27 km frá Middlesbrough-dómkirkjunni og 28 km frá Redcar-skeiðvellinum. Everything was really clean and tidy the toilets and showers was really clean too, it was really cosy even tho it was cold outside the heating kept it really nice, beautiful views.

The cabins were delightful, you could tell that a lot of thought and love went into them. All staff were personable, friendly, attentive and accommodating. The site was peaceful. The restaurant for breakfast was simple and a relaxing place to be.

Eastridge Glamping - Camping Pods er með garðútsýni, ókeypis WiFi og ókeypis einkabílastæði. Það er staðsett í Shrewsbury í 38 km fjarlægð frá Ironbridge Gorge. Easy to find, yet remote. We had good weather, took our own disposable bbq which we had outside our pod. Pod was clean and comfortable and the pub 2 minutes away was very welcoming :)
