Wonderful older property in a lovely village with a fantastic view. Staff were very friendly and helpful and the only sound you could hear was the swallows or swifts on the wing feeding their young. Really nice restaurant with loads of food .
At an altitude of 700 metres, The Mill Hotel is set in Kakopetria village. Built in rustic style, it offers tastefully decorated accommodation opening out to a balcony with Troodos Mountains views.

Engaged personnel, they even opened the shop for me.
Beds were comfy. Wifi was bad inside the room, but of good quality at the balcony.
Location is nice. You can either pay the bus to Prodromos (0,60€ per ride) and hike to Mt. Olympos from there or you start in Pedoulas. A lot of other trips are possible, too.

Great boutique hotel, lovely interior design, everything is new and clean and shows much thought about every detail.
The size of the room was good, we had access from the room to a lovely terrace and there are rooms with balconies on the upper floor. There is also a big terrace linked to the restaurant. The staff including the owners very nice and attentive, always there to help. The breakfast was excellent and so was the dinner that we had twice during our stay.
Very good private parking. The location in Kakopetria is good for touring the Troodos area.

Whilst we love a walk we are not serious trekkers - the area...
Whilst we love a walk we are not serious trekkers - the area is very set up for proper trekking and seems to be its main focus. We were on an overnight visit from staying in the hills behind Pafos. Really enjoyed the fabulous drive up through breathtaking views, drops, twists and turns - loved it! Some very sweet villages on the way too. We regretted not stopping more on the way up, missed things like the waterfall - maybe more time needed?! Really appreciated the wonderful mountain air, views from both our hotel and our strolls. We did part of the trek around Mount Olympus, not far from Troodos Square, but trek signs were pretty non existent after initial information board at the parking area so after about two hours decided to retrace our steps, not quite confident we had followed the right forks in the paths! As inexperienced explorers we didn’t want to get caught out. Our three hour total trek was very worth it, the views out across the Pafos Forest region were stunning. It was a hot sun, cool wind April day so on and off layers and good walking soles needed, plus water of course, and maybe a snack or two! Also very few people at this time of year - the upside, fabulously peaceful, the down, not so many people to ask for help from!!
Helpful staff. I was assigned a room facing the backyard of the hotel. However, the heating was quiet loud (even if it wasn't turned on) and I had difficulties communicating with the staff about it. In the end (well, as from the second night) I was moved to another room, which I was very grateful about. Obviously good location almost in the heart of the Troodos area, so we managed to do all hikes we wanted (even though weather was bad). Breakfast was good and bed comfortable.
The hotel is surrounded by nature and peace. just behind the window the forest starts so we really liked our view same as idea with refilling shampoo/soap in the bath. The equipment fitted to the whole concept and everything was really cozy. We enjoyed especially the huuuge dinner (was also so tasty) and the best bacon for the breakfast ever. Thank you for you kind help and nice stay!
Excellent villa for groups with thoughtful communal areas with plenty of fun, an amazing pool table, bbq area, fire pit and large kitchen with dining table. The American gas grill was extremely convenient and the kitchen had plenty of space for our group of 8 people. I particularly liked that the house was equipped with high quality toiletries and local food gifts for us to enjoy
Very clean. Beautiful view with nature around. In the middle of the center. Staff were amazing. Especially Viola and Stefanos. The menu at the restaurant is varied with local specialities and international food. Everything we tried was delicious. We ate there every day. Would definitely go back to and recommend!
Amazing location for walking the trails in Troodos. We loved being right on the square so could get walking easily.
The room was comfortable and clean. Staff were really helpful and friendly with check in and answering questions.
The location is good - right in the Troodos square. The view from the room is good, but not as spectacular as anticipated. Breakfast was prepared fresh for us as there weren't many guests and it was very good.
The location is very good if you want to wander around Troodos square or take a walk to nature trails. Nice view and clean facilities. Also a very cosy coffee shop next to the hotel if you want to relax.
Very good vibes of old hotel and delicious breakfast with good scramble, coffee and more. The hotel is located near the Atlanti hiking route. We stayed in semptember -- it's chilly in the night time.
The staff is very nice and there is a cozy restaurant downstairs. It is about 6 minute drive from the ski area. The rooms have mountain view, even if you are at lower levels of the building.
The hotel stands alone in Troodos and has a beautiful view, dining room, restaurant, convenient location. It is the best base for all your tourist needs while exploring the area.
The location was perfect and the fact we could have our room window open to experience the crisp mountain air. The staff were very kind and wanted us to have a good experience.
