Wonderful helpful staff- welcoming receptionist . Really excellent food. Normally I don’t expect much from hotel food but lunch and dinner were beautifully presented and had great flavour. We didn’t have breakfast. There aren’t any restaurant or cafe options within walking distance.

We only stayed one night at The Duran but very memorable. Very professional friendly staff, a lovely hotel which even Salvador Dali used to frequent. Large room, even bigger bathroom. Very comfortable beds. We ate dinner in the Restaurant which has very interesting decor. Fine dining service, we had a set 2 course meal. Great location and a beautiful old hotel You can't go wrong, treat yourself

We regular stay in Figueres as a stop for our trip further in Spain. Friends of us recommended this hotel and indeed it was good. It is a bit further from the city but no problem to take the car for visit. We did not had dinner in the hotel since we know a good place to eat near the Dali Museum. You can take very early the breakfast. Classic buffet but plenty of choices. We had a room with view over the pool and no problem of any noise. PS: In the near towards the autoroute you have a gas station with good (= low) prices. This was a bonus as extra of the stay :-)

What a wonderful hotel this is! A fifteen-minute walk from the train/bus station and a 2-minute walk to the car-free center. The welcome was friendly. My room was comfortable, spotless and with a very complete bathroom. The breakfast has sufficient variety, savory and sweet.
