The staff where amazing and the hotel was so fascinating with its historic background and Tudor style rooms. It was so unique and cheaper than chain hotels. Breakfast was amazing and the bed was so comfortable. The room was spacious and modern with still vintage Aesthetics. Beer garden was lovely and private aswell as facilities round the front and the bar was very reasonably priced. Cant wait to stay again.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. They also arranged a last minute birthday package for my partner. We chose this hotel purely for being 15 minutes drive from the Harry Potter studios. The breakfast was also very nice.

Food prepared for guests in afternoon following a funeral. Staff set up at side of bar with enough seating for us all. Special dietary requirement for an individual guest was catered for without fuss. Bar snack menu was very limited but tasty.

Visiting Kings Langley and the Harry Potter Warner Bros...
Visiting Kings Langley and the Harry Potter Warner Bros Studios is an enchanting experience that transports you into the magical world of Harry Potter.
Kings Langley, a historic village with charming streets and friendly locals, serves as the perfect gateway to the Harry Potter experience. The village offers quaint shops, cozy pubs, and beautiful walking paths, providing a peaceful retreat.
The highlight of the trip, however, is undoubtedly the Warner Bros Studio Tour. As you step into the studios, you're immediately immersed in the wizarding world. The room was comfortable and the bed was great.
The staff were friendly and accommodating.
The bar area was great but small and crowded (we picked a busy time)
The big disappointment was the food - Sunday evening meal was bad, very dried out mash, rock hard roast potatoes and a completely inedible Yorkshire pudding (obviously the last meal of the Sunday lunches). The chicken pie was good.
The breakfast was awful.

Nothing to like.
Nothing to like. Toilets dirty, room not that clean, food menu for evening meal poor and we were very ill after eating it. Charged £26.50 for breakfast when only had toast due to being ill all night. Fire doors slamming shut all night , dirty linen left on top of stairs all night

Really disappointing, we had a room with a view over a scrap area, that was messy as well as being ugly. The food was awful for dinner, the bar staff were sad, we weren't notified about the pool being closed.

Lovely place.
Lovely place. Having read some of the reviews l was concerned about the hotel as taking Grandson for his birthday to Harry Potter World, but the hotel was great. There was a lovely pub just down the road where we went for meal.
I recently had the pleasure of staying at this hotel and it was a truly wonderful experience. The hotel offered a very good breakfast and lunch, with a wide variety of dishes that were both delicious and satisfying. The facilities were well-maintained and added to the comfort of our stay.
The location of the hotel was a major highlight, being in close proximity to the Harry Potter Warner Bros Studios. This made our visit to the studios extremely convenient and added to the overall enjoyment of our trip.
Great hotel, booked it for after Warner Brothers Studios. Perfect location and quiet on the Monday we stayed. Had a few or 5 drinks at the bar, was quiet and great service. Then ate dinner and breakfast in the restaurant. Thai Green Curry was delicious and my wife's Steak was thoroughly enjoyed. We upgraded our room on arrival because I booked wrong, reception were more than happy to help. Loads of parking. Honestly hugely recommended if you do go to WB studios.
My partner and I chose this place because of the great price and the proximity to the Harry Potter Studio Tour. The staff were friendly, our stay was comfortable and we were within twenty minutes of a train station that has regular trains into London Euston, five minutes from a bus station that has regular buses into Watford High Street and five minutes from a canal walk. Other amenities within walking distance include pubs, a takeaway and a convenience store.
Fantastic location for Harry potter at warner brothers and kings langley train station.
Really old quirky building so don't expect modern plush. Staff were lovely .
Bed comfortable and all clean linen. Walls to adjoining room a bit thin so noise carried. Shower was a bit of a struggle , but all in all for the price and location it was fantastic. Wish we'd had breakfast option , not available weekdays. However having a bar was great for the evening!!
The hotel was set in a beautiful setting of a combination of open green space and woodlands. The staff were kind considerate and knowledgeable of the hotel and surrounding area.
The common areas were well maintained and beautifully kept.the swimming pool was fantastic for a tranquil escape and the dining area had a stunning view.
Room was of a respectable size and clean with attentive staff refreshing towels when needed.
The value for money is exceptional given the lovely location in Watford, the quality of the room, and breakfast being included. The breakfast had an excellent range of choices and was cooked brilliantly.
The hotel felt cosy, yet spacious and festive. All the staff were helpful and friendly- specially the server (who's name we didn't catch) who covered Friday and Saturday morning.
We loved the comfy beds, and the hotel were able to arrange joining rooms with a connecting door which was perfect for our young kids. The breakfast was fantastic and we loved been able to go for a swim with the children before breakfast. We had the pool to ourselves. The location is perfect for Harry Potter studios. Would recommend.
Breakfast was excellent. Best breakfast we have had, very tasty, not greasy and generous portions. Staff were lovely. Evening meal was great as well and restaurant and bar area were very comfortable and nicely decorated. Would definitely recommend The Two Brewers and would stay again if visiting this area
It’s an ideal place to stay at if you are visiting the Warner Bros. studios. It looks just like the pubs from the movie.
If you are looking for a 5 star hotel, keep looking, but if you like a unique stays surrounded by locals- you found your place.
This is a very handy location for Watford and for London. Comfortable property with bar. Train station within walking distance and buses for Watford and Hemel Hempstead which because of weather kind owner dropped me off at station!
The staff were so friendly, helpful and welcoming and the breakfast was delicious and served very quickly. Particularly grateful to Sarah for calling me a taxi back to the station when I couldn't get any mobile reception.
Excellent pub hotel located perfectly in rural Hertfordshire. Breakfast was very good and a great start to the day, the dinner menu was full of choice and all the food was very well prepared.
Only reason we stayed at hotel waa due to Harry Potter musuem, but we were super happy about our choice to stay at Two Brewers. The area was wonderful. Felt comfortable & safe.
The hotel itself was nice, although there was a strong paint smell due to decorating taking place. Didn't bother me but my son has sensory issues and it bothered him
