The location was perfect, and the view was stunning from one of our rooms. The hotel was very clean & fresh. Access to the beach and to the England Coast trail is immediate. The front lawn was very nice for children to play on. Use of the nearby pool & spa was a bonus. It is an easy walk to the center of Seahouses & to the boat trips.

Seahouses is a fishing town with a number of shops to have a wander round. There are plenty of places to eat, mostly on the expensive side though the food is good. There is crazy golf but more importantly a fantastic beach. There are sea trips out to sea seals and birds and fishing trips as well.

The house is accessible to everyone with really good facilities, comfortable seating, the biggest dining table ever seen and really well-appointed bedrooms and bathrooms. There is even a quiet mezzanine area for tucking yourself away with a book! Outside there is a large terrace with seating and beyond a big green space. There is real peace here accompanied by the sound of numerous birds in the trees. Lovely. We walked to Bamburgh, drove round to Lindisfarne and another day to Alnwick gardens (their Treehouse Restaurant is top notch.) Beadnell is worth a visit plus their Craster Arms pub, and so is Craster itself with its smoke house and a stroll to Dunstanburgh castle as a treat. And there's lots more places to explore next year!

I have been to Seahouses almost every year since 1991!

I have been to Seahouses almost every year since 1991! I have also been almost all round the British coast, and nowhere beats Northumberland. Seahouses has a perfect mix of scenery, wildlife, entertainment, shops and is very friendly and unpretentious. A great place in it's own right and a great base for the rest of the coast and county. Even after over 25 visits I'm not bored of it! So much to see, do and enjoy. A must-do is a boat trip to The Farnes - ideally with Serenity as these are the best trips with nice knowledgable staff.

Beautiful working harbour adorned with lobster pods, plenty of day trips to visit Farne island, fish or drive. Lots of independent shops which is nice to see but best of all a great choice of eateries for breakfast, lunch and evening with the quality first class. The fish& chips were so tasty and the Italian was so atmospheric with such flavoursome food also you can walk everywhere easily

Seahouses is a perfect base to explore from.

Seahouses is a perfect base to explore from. Lovely little town with amazing coastal path. If you enjoy walking you won’t be disappointed with this area. Superb scenery from Seahouses to Lindisfarne. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and discovered a lovely old traditional smokehouse in Seahouses. Before walking to Holy Island we enjoyed a coffee at Beal Barn with panoramic views. Driving over to Holy Island an option if you don’t want a very long walk ! Overall enjoyed excellent hospitality everywhere we visited. We’d need a full weeks visit next time to really appreciate that coastline. Stunning ! The Snug a cosy base for the two of us with parking right outside our door

Very comfortable bed and breakfast with very friendly and helpful hosts. I stayed with my daughter on a trip back from Scotland and we came via Seahouses to see the puffins on a Farne Islands boat trip. We loved meeting Donna and Paul. They are hosts who clearly greatly enjoyed meeting their guests. Huge and delicious breakfast. Good attention to guest preferences, eg. Donna provided me with a flask of oat milk for tea in the room when I said I was dairy intolerant. You never get this in hotels!

Perfect house with a large terrace plus lawned garden. There was a peaceful air about it, with a touch of luxury too. It was handy for the great Seahouses shops including an amazing pie/pasty/quiche shop. Walking along the nearby beaches was glorious; the short sea journey to the Farne Islands was magical, the local people were welcoming and the weather behaved itself! We've booked for next year, hurray!

Michael was an excellent host nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast time was amazing Michael asked what you would like? So much choice..... you could have exactly what you wanted and how it was cooked. He was easy to talk to and very knowledgeable about the local area. The bedroom and and ensuite were impeccably clean as was the rest of the property. A top rating 11/10! Thank you for the best New Year

The staff were very friendly and helped us immediately to find a safe, dry place for our large tandem bicycle. The room was clean and the bed comfy. Breakfast was everything you could want and cooked exactly as you wanted, and I considered the Links Hotel to be eco-friendly because the dining room uses cloth table napkins, not endless and wasteful paper napkins. Thank you Links Hotel.

Dunelm House is in a great location, a short walk to pubs and restaurants and the harbour. Suzanne couldn't do enough for us, was very welcoming and even made us a booking for our evening meal at The Black Swan. The breakfasts were great as well and set us up for the day. The room was very nicely fitted out and furnished. Definitely recommend and will be coming back

This hotel is very dog friendly. I was able to book a table each evening so that my two large dogs (Greyhounds) had enough space. A pre packed doggy dinner was available. The room I booked had a garden, again great for dog owners. Staff were friendly towards both dogs and me. Also very good was that a free drink was offered to encourage geen laundry options.

Hotel is right on the dunes above the sea. Plenty of car parking. Recently refurbished, it is lovely. Bedroom a good size. Very comfortable bed. Shower works very well. Breakfast is phenomenal. Ate in restaurant one evening and the food was delicious. Enjoyed a drink in the comfortable lounge area with other guests. We'll placed for touring the stunning coast.

Great little holiday let - very clean and comfortable, with everything you need for a pleasant stay. Right next to a bakery, butchers, Co-op and several restaurants. Really appreciated little things like tea, coffee, sugar and dishwasher tablets being provided! Lovely base for exploring the area for a family of four.

It’s understated but comfortable esthetic. The staff. The location. The little restaurant is good. The breakfast is nice. The sitting area / lounge is lovely and the proximity to stellar walking and beach and tide pools and sunrises is tip top.
