The location is amazing, such a wonderful building and the rooms were very big. There was a nice street view and great restored original design and feel to the whole hotel and rooms. The staff was super nice, in fact we forgot our electric toothrbrushes and they assisted us by sending them over with courier to us (which is just above and beyond).
The restaurant the hotel has is also amazing, I hope they get their second Mishelin star soon! Nicollette and her manager from the waitstaff were just exceptional. They were professional and yet engaging and friendly, we got to know each other and they really started cracking :)
Breakfast was also great and in a cute location at a market around the corner.

With the basilica looming above it, there's a real sense of history about this town. Very filmic atmosphere. Lovely river frontage and great cycleways and walkways. The town square has its own wishing well fountain a la Trevi.
it's close by train to Budpest and definitely worth a weekend or more stay

Lots of colourful pansies everywhere, a very clean and well kept town with plenty of cafes and bars. Wonderful views over the Danube from the castle at the top of the hill. Well worth a visit as it is less than 2 hours from Budapest on the train.

Esztergom is a charming little town, with pretty streets and a wonderful cathedral to visit. It's easy walking distance everywhere. We ate in the evening in a great restaurant not far from the river called Mediterraneo, which we would thoroughly recommend. There was also a cracking little venue called Sportalsó which had live music on.

The scenery was really nice, but we couldn't get up on the train, which was supposed to get around the town.We wanted to go for a boat trip or something, but it was closed and not many information was around about that. The bus which was taking us into the town was clean and nice, the price wasn't expensive either.I recommend Paddy's,it was perfect, the food excellent, not to expensive and the service also excellent.

You don't need to stay in Esztergom.
You don't need to stay in Esztergom. Just visit the Basilica and Castle and go back. In winter, even on Saturday almost all stores and cafes were closed. We couldn't do anything in cold weather.

The best for me is the Primatial Basilica of the Blessed Virgin Mary Assumed Into Heaven and St Adalbert.
Is easy to go for others cities, they have good connections.
The people don't speak almost nothing of English.
Just PERFECT 👌🏼 We loved our stay in Esztergom and our accommodation definitely had something to do with it !
Very good location 2min walking from the walkway to Esztergom castle and cathedral. Located on the main street in front of the bus stop, but not noisy thanks to the nice interior courtyard. The flat is small but well organized, loved the duplex style with bed on top. We had AMAZING nights and slept so well among all these comfortable pillows ! 🥰
This was our second say in the boutique hotel and this time we got the king room. It is even more beautiful than the queen and that’s saying a lot. The property is renovated to the highest standard and we just didn’t want to leave. It is very centrally located, bus stop is 2 minutes, thermal baths 5 minutes, basilica 15 minutes walk. The breakfast place is a comfortable 3 minutes walk and they give you a very generous alacarte breakfast.
The hotel was modern, very clean, good parking facilities, the rooms were very nice and clean too, bathroom was clean and well designed. The staff were excellent, efficient and friendly and very welcoming. Altogether a great hotel, just a pity about the food (the choice of wines was good) ... It will be even nicer when the hotel opens its own wellness area in autumn.
Fabulous hotel in Esztergom close to a nice sightseeing area (castle with great views over the Danube river)
Giant public pool across the street included in the price (beware it gets very crowded).
Big buffets for breakfast and dinner with great international and local food choices. All included.
Comfortable room with everything you need.
I stayed at this hostel in 2018, 2019 and 2021 and I plan to come back, I suppose that says it all. The town is wonderful, every trip in Hungary must include a few days in Esztergom and Rugby hostel is the best place to stay there. Natural beauty, many touristic places to visit, hills to climb, a perfect place to relax.
Pannonia Apartment is a charming. very unique apartment. There are 3 apartments in a unique round house in a good location in Esztergom. We were on bikes and there is a good, secure area for bike storage. Communication with the host was very good and questions were answered quickly. Highly recommend.
Excellent location in the very center of Esztergom, adjacent parking (covered), peace (no noise around), beautiful ambiance (a lot of greenery and gardens), comfortable room, impeccable cleanliness, very good breakfast, and very friendly and attentive employees.
Location brilliant but Google maps takes you to a different hotel along the street. The right one is nearby but not completely obvious. Facilities great, including Jacuzzi for 4 people. Breakfast ok. My son appreciated the free drinks on tap during the day.
It was a very hot day so we really appreciated the air conditioner. As we were riding and wanted to leave early the next morning, because of the heat, we were granted an early breakfast. This was very helpful and really kind. The room was quiet.
The staff were very helpful. There was some confusion because there are two Hotel Adelberts in Esztergom, but Evelyn went above and beyond to help us find the correct one. Location was great. Breakfast was very good.
The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, and the room had all the amenities you could ask for. This hotel would be a perfect chain hotel - modern, functional and well decorated.
Very, very friendly staff! Efficient and perfect in their handling and communication of the rent.
Perfect place in the center of Esztergom for to persons travelling together.
Nice clean rooms, great location, lovely staff, great breakfast and nice parking spot. If I ever find myself in Esztergom again I will book this hotel for sure.
The owner was very friendly and flexible. I loved the interior design, especially the pictures of Esztergom. Everything was high quality, not "hostel-like".
