What , I like the most is the location of this place the Valley is surrounded by tiny villages located it on the cliffs of the mountains therefore we pick Arghare Village , the views where spectacular! Also the decor in the place amazing 🤩!! We had a small vehicle 🚗, my husband drove up it was a bit challenging , just take your time is part of the journey:) Said came right away and meet us. To make it easier. The next day I walk to the main village Imlil , cascades , like 25 minutes walk , everyone is nice 😊

Best place to plan to climb Jebel Toubkal (4160 m) – Morocco’s and North Africa’s highest mountain. Not only Toubkal but many other day trips and hikes can take place from Imlil including visiting Berber villages, with guides who can be hired locally with many different types of trips to meet your needs, horse, donkey or bicycle its all on offer. Note no local ATM machines so take enough cash or be prepared for a short trip to Ansi. Wherever you travel the views are inspiring.

excellent hideaway from the heat of Marrakesh.
excellent hideaway from the heat of Marrakesh.
Zarathustra restaurant cooked us a fantastic dinner, for the right price. We has a look to their rooms, and other that there was no air-con at the time, the style, price and size were very nice. Some of the rooms had shared bathroom.
We did not find good restaurants in Imlil other than the above, though we did not check other hotels and riads. there are some local restaurants that were ok, very local....

Even if you aren’t planning to hike Toubkal, I would 100% suggest Imlil for a quiet weekend to get away from the bustle and bustle of Marrakech. In my two trips to Morocco, I’ve visited Imlil three times, once for a day, once for several days on my second trip just to relax with no plans of hiking Toubkal, and then I returned with friends to hike Toubkal.
My experience with the people of Imlil is that they are genuinely welcoming and kindhearted, not just pretending to be because you’re a tourist with money, as I’ve experienced in other cities. The prices of things are also typically better than in Marrakech overall, although they are still geared towards tourists.
Despite being a few different settlements, Imlil is a small village where everyone knows each other and is happy to help you find what you’re looking for. There are plenty of guides for a day hike or for hiking Toubkal, and whatever lodging you stay at can usually help you find someone to guide you.
Overall, Imlil is my favorite place in Morocco, and coming here feels like returning home.
The riad has a fantastic view over Imlil valley and the mountains from the terrace, which makes an excellent spot for breakfast. There is also a spacious, comfortable lounge for the chillier evenings. The staff were wonderful: Mohammed's food was some of the best we had in Morroco and Abdul was a wonderful guide. Abdul offered us many options of hikes and was very flexible, informative and helpful taking us on a wonderful hike we will remember for a long time!
I had an absolutely delightful stay at Riad Atlas 4 Seasons. The room was magnificent, impeccably clean, and incredibly comfortable. The view from the balcony was breathtaking, offering a stunning perspective of the highest mountain of Morocco Toubkal. The food was delicious, and the hospitality of the staff was unparalleled. A special thanks to Mr. Rachid for his exceptional kindness and attention to detail. I cannot recommend this Riad highly enough!.
The room was cozy and warm - we stayed at the beginning of March! We could change the room temperature easily (in other apartments we had booked usually it was quite cold even with a heater). Water was also hot.
The breakfast was tasty and fulfilling.
The staff was friendly and helpful. They even gave us pancakes and water for our hike in mountains.
Highly recommend if you want to stay in Imlil.
Hassan was a fantastic host, answering all of our questions about his culture and cooking the most delicious food (we had dinner 3 out of our 3 nights at Dar Aymane)! He also gave us easy instructions for doing two small hikes on our own. The common area in the hotel was cozy and the terrace outside offered a stunning view of the mountains. Our bedroom was comfortable and spacious. Thank you!!

Le Village du Toubkal is perfectly located in Imlil, with incredible views on the mountains and huge, beautiful rooms. From there we were able to go on a breath taking walk around the valley. The staff was welcoming and the food was lovely, it was the perfect place to stay for a quiet, mountain getaway.
The location of the hotel is a the top of the village and the view from some of the bedrooms is amazing. But this also means that it is not in the center of the village which can be a problem if no evening meal is served. The swimming pool area is wonderful with a beautiful view and a lovely garden.
A lovely little budget guest house. The host family are very sweet and the terrace has the most amazing views. It's very cheap so if you are looking for luxury don't come here. I absolutely loved it though. Perfect as a base for hikes and exploring Imlil. I would most certainly stay here again.
I’m really not happy with you of the hotel maxilla
don’t u think that you should tell people it’s not easy to get there !

I truly adored the tranquil atmosphere, cleanliness, and welcoming people of the charming little paradise in Imlil. The mesmerizing view makes it a must-visit destination, and I can see myself returning multiple times; it feels like home to me in Imlil ♥️ thank you .
Best recomendations. If would like visit Toubkal or just run from the heat weather its the grate place.
Everything what you need you will find. Owner so helpful. Breakfast like in the best hotels. If some day come back in Maroco. Visit this Toubkal Garden 🙋♀️💐👏
This is not my first stay in this hotel. I really like their food, they have the best Tajin in Morocco. I am not exaggerating, the staff are super friendly and ready to provide your requests. The size of the room are super big and the location is great.
A lovely hotel right in the middle of where you'd need to be, if you wanted to do camping/outdoor activities. The staff was SO nice. The facility was nice. Everything was great. Zero complaints. Would absolutely stay again!
The view of the hotel is just incredible! The hosts are also really helpful and gave us everything we need. The room is spacious with air-conditioning, plus a balcony. I would highly recommend it for staying in Imlil.
Spacious and beautiful rooms, with amazing views of the kasbah. The furnishings are very pretty. The swimming pool must be a plus in the summer. It is definitely the best hotel in the village.
Lovely spot. Awe-inspiring view. Best tagine we had in Morocco. Comfy beds. Hot water. Yummy breakfast. Mohammad and Hassan: Thank you for making us feel like we were part of the family!
Hossein and Mohamed were incredibly friendly. i recommended this hostel to everyone I spoke to on my trip in Morocco who told me that they were headed to Imlil.
