Receptionist Kate was so helpful. She helped me retrieve my luggage after being separated for 3 days from it. She was so helpful with every problem we had and she spoke perfect English.

Cagnes-sur- Mer is a thriving hub about 4 miles from Nice with train and bus connections to all the surrounding resorts and hill towns in the area. There are plenty of shops for food, a market and lots of restaurants. a free shuttle bus is available to take you to the hill village of Haut Cagnes, well worth a visit and there is also a free bus to the beach although lots of the local buses serve the beach too as well as it having its own station Cros de Cagnes. A ten minute walk brings you to the station.

It is a town which combines the promenade ( tourist area ) and a working town with lots of shops, market and bus and train stations. The town provided easy access to Vence and Nice. Those interested in Art and History will be delighted with Renoir’s house and the Grimaldi Palace in Cagnes-sur-Mer. The Matisse Chapel ( Vence ) and lots of musee in Nice. All within 30 minutes by bus or train.

We loved this apartment and our stay in Cagnes-sur-Mer.
We loved this apartment and our stay in Cagnes-sur-Mer. Fabienne is so kind and helpful.
A minus is the noise from traffic and the airplanes, when the windows are open. The apartment is quiet when they are closed.
Walking in C-s-M is easy and the beaches are very easy to reach, though the markets are pretty far away and you have to take a bus there. The buses are always awful crowded.

This village, although fairly developed, was quiet and less expensive to eat and drink out than Nice, Cannes and other locations nearby. However, prices are high generally on the French Riviera.
There is a market once a week that was very nice, with a fair amount of local produce, and the atmosphere was great.
We found all the bars and restaurants well apointed, and provided a good choice.
There are many buses passing through the village, but again information on how to use the various routes was hard to find. Travel cards can be bought locally for €10 which give 10 single rides on the buses or trams - which is a must! One ride for any distance.

Town is near see .
Town is near see . The biggest shopping mall in Azzure Coast - Poligon reviera located in the town. The Azzure Coast Hypodrom is also located in the town . There are a lot cafes and restaurants. The last house of famous painter Renuar is located also here .
The hotel is located 2 minutes from the beach and the busy promenade. The room was practical with a large wardrobe, a small sitting area and a balcony. The room had an A/C, which also had a heating function. The room could be fully darkened with electric shutters.
I liked its location due to its proximity to the sea and its easy access. It's worth mentioning that there were nearby dinner options, a couple of restaurants and cafes are in easy walking distance.
Staff at the hotel was very friendly and helpful.
The hotel was a real surprise! The entrance is along a side street, not very easy to find and doesn't look like much - but once inside..... wow! the rooms we had were really big, comfortable and clean and the sea view was just perfect. Unfortunately didn't get a chance to eat in the restaurant but it looked amazing and we were away too early for breakfast but again, it looked great. Hotel is just over the road from the beach and there is paid parking close by.
Breakfasts were just what one needs for a start to the day ++++++ Excellent.
Regarding TAXI from Hotel to Airport.
The Lady driver did not have any EURO apart from a single €10 note -- which caused complications when paying her.
This was not a Taxi either ---- as there was no meter installed.
My advice would be to recommend that such a car collection/delivery service should have adequate notes/coins to assist in payment by a tourist.
The hotel is in a perfect location, away from the main busy road but still with a gorgeous sea view at the end of a small quiet road. The rooms are small and basic but they're ok. The location of this hotel is what makes it very attractive. The price is low compared to other places on the Cote d'Azur, but I still feel it's a bit expensive for what it offers.
A beautiful house with character and all the modern conveniences. Extremely clean, lovely decor, very quiet and a nice view with a peak of the sea. Alexia is very sweet and responsive. We would highly recommend this home for a comfortable and peaceful stay on the Côte d’Azur!
This is a gem perched high above the Mediterranean. The hotel utilizes the medieval space and adds an upscale flair. Beautifully appointed rooms and spaces, incredible attention from the staff and an amazing restaurant with views for miles. I will definitely be back!
Very friendly people are working there. Nice restaurant in the hotel, we ate there few times and also order to the room. Location is also very good, not far from the beach and old town ( we fall in love with old town). Room was big and clean , comfy bed.
Room with balcony. Stunning view of the Mediterranean. Wonderful staff. Fine breakfast. In a charming town and only 8 minute drive from the Nice Airport. Best parking ever for a bustling beach town-private, protected, easily accessible.
Excellent location and great price. It is cheaper than most of hotels in Nice and it has a nice beach just across the road (5-10 minutes walking). I like it more than other hotels in Nice.
Location was perfect, just a couple blocks from the sea. We loved the large outside patio with it’s view of the sea. An excellent restaurant in close proximity. Nice family setting.
hotel was adequate for our needs ie only to provide a bed for one night - easy to find/ good location and availability of parking
staff were very helpful and pleasant
Gorgeous! Beautiful location! Splurge and get the room with the sea view and balcony. Near the beach, great restaurants near by, and it’s so comfortable.
