The room was tidy and clean up regulary. Clean towels and bed sheets which are also regulary changed.Everything is in a kind of retro style from the 70s, which gives a special atmosphere. The breakfast was very tasty and varied and it was a real pleasure to have breakfast on the terrace overlooking the sea. Location is very good. 5 min. walking to beach. Also a plenty restaurants along side beach. Hotel has beautiful view on Mediterranean from terrace. Also there is a supermarket nearby where you can buy everything you want. Hotel staff was very nice especially lady owner and her son. Both help me a lot about everything. Giving me right informations about place, where to go and what to see as attractions. My big recommendation to tourists coming to the south of France is to visit Le Lavandou and the "Bele Vue" hotel.

Le Lavandou is a beautiful town. We stayed here because we were attending a wedding. We were so glad we did, as the whole place is charming, easy to get around and has plenty of restaurants, shops and services to make our stay really lovely. We will come back in the future as it really is an amazing place.

Good sized sea front town.
Good sized sea front town. Good access to main areas of town and parking. When we were there it was just end of season and not too busy. Also we had fantastic weather. More to do than we had time for, would like to come back and explore the area a bit more.

Just a perfect French atmosphere.
Just a perfect French atmosphere. Bar Central is the hub of the town next to the Espandon hotel. Promenading along the beach is essential. Lots of restaurants and pretty shops. I recommend Bo the Thai restaurant in the shopping area as a great place to eat and be seen.

We liked the calm and the friendliness of everyone we met.
We liked the calm and the friendliness of everyone we met. The town is a delight as it is comparatively unspoilt and the beaches all along that part of the coast are sandy and well maintained. We ate local produce in lots of good restaurants at reasonable prices but also bought delicious things at the market and picnicked on the beach. We did it all by public transport and found the 7801 bus service excellent: €3 each, wherever we wanted to go, so €3 for a short hop but also €3 to go all the way from Toulon to St Tropez (the driver is happy if you can produce the exact money). We also made a lot of use of the old coastal railway line which is now a cycle path and footpath so avoids having to walk on the main road. We had great walks at Bormes and Cavaliere, very well marked, up into the hills but be careful to check the Var government website for the fire risk. We were lucky to have a wet day so safe walking afterwards.

I liked the promenade with palm trees , seats and a wide selection of restaurants. The tourist information staff were very friendly and helpful . It was situated straight down the narrow alleys about 400 yards from the main road and the side road to Le Petit Boheme.
The wide sandy beach had many people sunbathing and swimming at 19.00 in the evening in early September.
The hotel owner was great, she recommended amazing restaurants and organized 2 seats even when the restaurant was already booked.
The hotel is located directly at the cliffs of Le Levandou and 1 min away from the beach, allowing to have a drink or breakfast directly at the sea! And for breakfast, are small or an extensive version is on offer for very fair prices, allowing to choose whatever you desire.
Finally, the restaurant has parking lots available for clients, which is especially good in a sometimes crowded place like Le Lavandou.
In heart of Le Lavandou, beautiful area, close to beach, supermarket, boulangerie, restaurants, shops. Free big parking (P. du Marche) at 8 min by foot. Only for 2, too small if you have a kid. Keep in mind that the bedroom is separated only by a curtain and the bathroom have only a sliding glass door and is not closed up to the ceiling - is quite typical in small studios like this, for us was no problem. Being in center is noisy in the morning from delivery and cleaning trucks.
We loved everything. This hotel is truly a place to relax. The staff is attentive and welcoming. A highlight are the dinners pepared by the owners and served on the magnificent terrace with sea view. Beyond the hotel itself, the location is just perfect. The beach can be reached by walking 3 minutes, a small grocery store is literally across the street. All in all 10/10. Will re-visit for sure.
Everything met my needs as a solo traveller. I had a small, but fully equipped, spotless room. My charming hostess could not have been more helpful. The hotel is perfectly situated for town access, and the the local bus route East to St.Tropez and West to Toulon gives easy access to countless beautiful beaches. The ferries to Les Ilsle D'Or are only 5 minutes walk away.
The view from our room was exceptional, with a lovely comfortably furnished balcony. The NUXE toiletries were a real bonus, comfortable bed, mini bar, bath robes and slippers. In short, the hotel is comfortable, has real charm and the location is fantastic. I would definitely return, and add at least two more nights to our stay!
The hotel was extremely close to a beach that I visited a year earlier and really liked. (plage de Saint Clair Lavandou). Literally a 2 minute walk. Hotel had private parking and was very well maintained. The owner was very friendly and had met me and my mom in the lobby during check in.
The owners/staff were very friendly and gave lots of tips of places to go. The location is great! Close to the beach and to the center of the city. You can do everything walking.
The hotel has a great patio also for pic nic or chilling.
room very clean, spacious and bright with large terrace with wonderful view overlooking the port. Breakfast was simple but good. A typical continental breakfast. The hotel owners were very welcoming, friendly and extremely helpful.
The view from
Our room was fantastic . The hotel was beautiful in the reception with the breakfast area looking onto the port. We enjoyed the pictures on the walls of family over the years at the beach. The hotel had a great vibe !
Wonderful staff that made us feel welcome from the first step through the front door. Beautiful pool area. Dinner poolside was outstanding. If you plan to be anywhere near Le Lavandou stay here. You won't be disappointed
The apartment was a good size and well fitted out. The location was very good for the local beach and shops. It was about 20 minute pleasant walk along the seafront to le Lavandou.
The hotel is well located close to the beach and easy to find, the accommodations were basic for a three-star hotel but clean, the staff very polite and helpful and breakfast good.
The hotel is right on the beach and we had a room with a wonderful sea view. The staff were exceptionally friendly and the food was outstanding. We loved it.
