Built in 1873 on the lush green and quiet Margaret Island in the centre of Budapest, the Ensana Grand Margaret Island offers a spacious spa area with a selection of treatments. Staff at the reception desk were very kind and welcoming, Janos and Balint in particular. I initially booked for three days and then extended for another three and they gave a slightly larger room with a balcony I found both rooms I stayed in clean, the bathrooms spotless and the room service efficient along with the cleaners being very friendly including a nice Russian speaking one The breakfast was perfectly adequate, fresh and tasty, plus the staff in that area were always smiling and prompt with their assistance. The omelettes that they make on demand really hit the spot I would be amiss if I didn't mention the spa facilities, at the sister hotel just down the road and connected by a super convenient underground tunnel. At this place, I found Patrick and Dominica to be very welcoming and helpful, they explained everything clearly and were eager to help.
