In short Everything, from the reception, hospitality, room and facilities. This stay is run by a family that lives near by. They treat you as one of their own. We stayed just one night but ended up interacting with most of them and they were exceptionally warm. The place also has a cafe/restaurant that serves good food at very reasonable price.

We stayed here just for one night as we were departing out of Sanur harbour over to Nusa Lembongan, so we didn’t stay for long, but we had a great stay. The bed was huge and super comfy, with a nice quilt/duvet. The shower was lovely and hot. Access to a TV with google play, Netflix etc if you wished. A fridge, lots of storage space, good A/C and great location to loads of restaurants and bars. The room felt newly refurbished and modern. The owners were delightful and super friendly whenever I communicated with them via WhatsApp. Would highly recommend staying here, we wished we could have stayed an extra night as we had one of the best night sleeps in a while!

A small peaceful oasis in Sanur. It is a great place to work remotly with good internet and enough power outlets. The staff was very helpfull and friendly and provided us with great tea and coffee for breakfast and in the afternoon.

The room is very clean, all facilities that provide in room is just like 4 stars hotel. We have to leave very early for departure. They make our breakfast in a box so we can take it. I can ask to refill water in my bottle out of charge.

The whole staff was really professional and, at the same time, funny as hell. When we arrived late at night the guy at the reception joked around us like: "We didn't know you guys were coming!" Great way to start our first trip to Bali! 😁

Kayu Sugih is a beautiful small "palace" at the end of a green tunnel of bamboo. It was quiet even though in the midst of a busy area. The garden & pool area is very attractive and well manicured. My room was comfortable and spacious with everything working well. The breakfast was very good. I especially liked that they served Bali coffee that one makes oneself instead of filtered weak coffee served by other Bali hotels where I've stayed.
