I really like the hospitality of the homestay's owner, Gede Sugi. He is a sincere and very kind person. It was a great pleasure to talk to him. I liked a good view from the room to the mountain. The balcony is great for just sitting and looking at the nature. I liked how clean the room was and I enjoyed the fresh smell of the bedsheets. The room is not fancy. But it has all the necessities and is very comfy and clean. I liked the location close to the waterfalls. It is also very convenient that Gede gives his guests a pass to the waterfalls. So you don't have to take a guide and can save really good money by paying only for the entrance.

Staying at this place makes the visit to Sekumpul a breeze. We got a badge that meant a 20k discount and also being allowed to hike to the waterfall without a guide (whom you don't really need). And it's the best possible location, the path starts right in front of the place. Also, the outdoorish shower was amazing.

Can really only repeat and highlight the comments from others - this was our second time in Munduk and the Villa Manigelang offered an absolutely memorable stay. We booked two rooms as a group of four - both of which offered incredibly spacious accommodation, clean and all the key essentials you need. The view was simply stunning both during the day but especially at sunrise and sunset. We felt extremely welcomed, Rio and his friend Shovia who worked front of house made sure to see to all our needs. Lastly the food - wow… We have been travelling in Asia for 8 months, 7 weeks in Indonesia and the food cooked by Kashia (mum) was truly delicious most certainly the best we have had at a property (outside a restaurant). Only problem we didn’t stay long enough to try everything although we gave it a good try! A massage is also a must!

This is an active farm stay with surprising facilities and right next to the famous Aling Aling Waterfalls only 10 minutes walk right on your doorstep ! The farm owner and his family where incredibly welcoming and nothing was too much trouble , with food prepared from produce from the farm and fresh coconut this place is incredible and I will definitely return to this magical place
