Set within 1.1 km of Hourseshoe Crab Museum and 4.3 km of Kasaoka Sun Plaza, オーベルジュ美の浜 流石 provides rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Kasaoka. This little hotel which I mainly booked to break up our driving journey between destinations turned out to be a little gem. It was quaint clean and had a beautiful traditional Japanese garden outlook from our room and the best dinner we had in Japan. The food was top notch and so delicious it melted in your mouth. Nestled in the beautiful countryside, Okayama Hostel Igusa is a traditional 50-year old Japanese-style home that has been renovated into a guesthouse. A wonderful guesthouse with a great traditional feel and lovely gardens. Location is great, in a nice town with a short walk to train station (easy access to Okayama and ferry port for Naoshima). Host very welcoming and provided useful information and recommendations for the town. Nice common area which offers the opportunity to meet other guests.
