There are a lot of places to explore nearby and their dogs (pulga, mimi and carnival) and cat (Dull) are an essential part of the experience. Beautiful giant gentle creatures. We left the place feeling really grateful.

Basically, it's everything you need during the low season. We are thankful for everything that we experienced here.

It feels like you're staying in somebody's very welcoming home. The staff are warm, caring, and extremely helpful. The breakfast is good, and the dinner (not included in the price for the room, but reasonably priced) is excellent. We really appreciated them cooking for us after the 9.00 pm cut-off time. The location is about 45 minutes closer than Puerto Natales to the main viewpoints in Torres del Paine (including the mirador for base torres). It may not sound like a huge amount, but that hour and a half will feel like an eternity considering how physically taxing the hikes are. It also feels like you're part of a community there. Puerto Natales is more of a tourist town (a bit like El Calafate).
