Terletak di Madalena, Pulau Pico, Caravelas dikelilingi oleh Samudra Atlantik di 3 sisi dan menghadap Pulau Faial. Hotel ini menyediakan kolam renang luar ruangan, resepsionis 24 jam, dan rental... I don't understand why so many people are complaining about this hotel. It is as close to the ferry terminal as you can get. , The rooms are clean and tidy. The pool has a nice view on Faial, and is beeing cleaned every morning (and they are probably the only ones having a pool in Pico anyway...) You can walk in less than 5 minutes to all the different tour operators (Diving, Hiking, Whalewatching, Rentalcars....) and restaurants. It is maybe a bit dated, but I felt like they were doing their best at being welcomig. They even organise a mini breakfast buffet from 04 a.m - 7 a.m for people leaving early on hikes or diving tours...! Keep in mind that every Airbnb in the area is more expensive , without offering you room service, breakfast or a pool area. If you come to Pico for its great nature activities, and want an easy hotel, thats your place to go!!

Loving Strangers Hostel mempunyai taman, lounge bersama, teras, dan bar di Madalena. Kamar yang ber-AC menyediakan pemandangan gunung serta dilengkapi dengan lemari pakaian dan WiFi gratis. The host Stefan is extremely lovely. I was given a quick tour of the hostel and was free to choose whichever bunk bed I wanted. The beds are amazing: outlet, personal light, curtains that let no light in, space to put your things, very comfortable mattress, large lockers. The breakfast was also lovely. Stefan will make you his signature pancakes (also vegan and gluten free if you want). There is also yoghurt, bread, different jams, fruit and cereal. Speaking of food: make sure you participate in the "family dinners". The home-cooked meals (form starters to soup, main, and desert) are amazing. Stefan not only cooks better than most restaurants I have been to on the azores, but you'll also be fed until you explode and that for a very fair price. Finally, I loved the co-working space with nice chairs, privacy and fast WIFI.

The property has a beachfront location with stunning view to Faial and the coastline. Typical island property with many details in wood perfectly crafted by the hosts. Absolutely clean and cozy, making our stay a memorable experience in Pico. Monique was our host, always very helpful and kind. Having a coffee early in the morning or a sunset drink at the main balcony is a rare and exquisite experience. We will be back!

Fantastic view across the vineyards and down to the sea, clean and modern rooms, good breakfast. Great wine :) The dining experience we had here was incredible and definitely part of the Azores Wine Company experience - can’t recommend this enough. The tasting was also great fun, and the staff of course were very knowledgable about their wine and the history of winemaking in Pico.
