Truly excellent. The food in Portugal is amazing to start with, which helps, but the entire buffet in every single aspect was 10/10. Every bit of it was appealing. Usually there's a weak point in a hotel breakfast somewhere but this place absolutely knocked it out the park across the board. The room it was served in is also a really nice space.

Amazing location and views. It had everything we needed for a 4 day stay. The local host company provided the linen.. great fluffy towels! In May we didn't need the aircon but it's an attic apartment and I'm sure it would cook in the summer.

We booked at the last minute and the host was a little slow to get back to us when we wanted to make some changes, this was even more confusing because we got a lot of messages whilst we were trying to contact the host, only to realize they were all automated messages from Booking.com without actually providing any answers. A few minor points: washer/dryer but no drying rack, the bathroom has a slight lingering moisture issue, there were only cakes of soap, no shampoo/conditioner (just would have been nice to know), there is nowhere to leave luggage after checkout if you have a late connection. Oh yes; it's all downhill from the train station, so it's all uphill on the way back; if you've been to Porto this will make sense!

The location was perfect for us.

Unaware the swimming pool was detached from the hotel. However, the hotel gives you a lift to and from the hotel. The pool and surrounding area were was ideal.

The servicing of the room was done late in the afternoon after we returned back to the apartment. we did not want to be disturbed so our bed was mot made or changed for the whole time we stayed. The rubbish was not collected for the time we were there. I wrote to Rita to refund the €16 city tax we paid twice to get the code to the door but no satisfaction. How can I get the €16 refunded?
