We were on the road side of the building and the room was very stuffy. There was a fan but it was a balance between having the window open to cool the room and the noise of the road or the noisy fan! The window also did not open much at all. I would request a room away from the road next time.

I wasn't going to write this review but I keep getting promoted to do so. I am sorry to mention this here as I did message the host directly (to which he did reply), but I feel the need to be completely honest. The check in time for our stay was at 3pm, however we arrived at 6pm (by choice), but the washing machine was still on and had a three hour time duration until it was due to stop. It was noisy and disrupted our peace - for what was supposed to be a quiet and relaxing weekend away. We found a dead bug on the sofa, so it could do with a deep clean and better cleanliness. Can I suggest a few personal touches such as having a corner lamp in the lounge area or a candle etc, instead of a massive plant taking up so much floor space. All in all, the apartment is perfectly fine for a short stay or getaway at Leeds Docks.
