Comfortable and clean hotel but services during the day poor; bathroom needs updating.

Plumbing in the bathroom well below today's standards, particularly the shower tap. No Bar facilities or even coffee and tea facilities on offer during 11.00 a.m., to 4.00 p.m.

Meals in the Restaurant and friendly staff in the restaurant

Bed was uncomfortable and it as quiet noisy with doors closing and customers walking through the corridor.

Great location enroute north. Very polite staff and room clean.

Some aspects of the hotel were in need of a lick of paint.

Lady on reception was helpful and friendly. Lake side room, ground floor, great with dogs. Clean freshly painted room, comfy beds. Great breakfast.

We had a dark dingy room that faced the rear and service road.

The location was stunning, we should have the extra for a view from the room. The food was very good, worth paying for an evening meal in advance.

Food was overpriced and didn't come with anything other than pasta and sauce. Cheesecake was bought in and frozen solid!

The location was great. I had a view over the Loch towards the hills.

Sadly, the hotel needs some basic housekeeping. It’s very dusty in places and unnecessary rubbish seen from rooms and stairwells. You can overlook maintenance issues if everything is spotlessly clean. First impressions of litter outside the hotel reception needs daily attention. It’s a pity as the hotel is in a stunning location and conservation values should be observed.

Staff very friendly. We were on half-board basis and both supper and breakfast were very good and excellent choice. Plenty of hot water for a deep soak in the bath. We would stay again for all the positives.

My only complaint was that we had no phone signal at all & the WiFi did not work. It didn’t even work in the bar. So it made it difficult to plan the next leg of our journey. The tv kept losing signal

Good sized carpark. Live entertainment with Scottish dancers. Right on the loch, lovely views. Room was a good size and clean. Shower was powerful with hot water. The pub 5 min walk up the road, Ben Arthur’s Bothy, looks a bit rough but the food is lovely. & you can sit outside on the loch where the views are stunning

Nothing really. Just for my first night I was in a room (235 I think) with thin walls & the heavy snorer next door kept me awake.

Very good value - given the massive prices rises across the Highlands since the pandemic. Buffet breakfast was good, plenty of fresh fruit salad & croissants as well as all the usual Scottish cooked items. Very nice staff throughout, very professional & courteous - although I had a very reasonably priced room that costv less than many 'hostels' now charge, I felt the whole atmosphere & treatment of guests was first class. I felt well looked after. Nice bar meal in the evening & gorgeous large quiet lounge area with views across the Loch. I'd recommend it to other solo travellers.

Walls were thin and next door had on til about mid-night and then from about 6:30am again. Also, there was an aircon ? unit humming outside. I moved my pillows to bottom of bed and that helped.

    Very convenient to my route

In room 115 noise from large extractor on flat roof caused disturbed sleep. Taps on bathroom sink need tightening as both lose. Light switch above bed is minus a screw so moves. Quite dated

Good location, decent sized room, shower good and overall fairly clean
